Three Jobs in Three Months

February 21, 2008

What exactly do you do when a bigger opportunity knocks on your door? Well, some people think first while others don’t and decisions come out of them like a lightning. I think first but it seems like I do not. As I also see the picture, it really seemed like I’am a happy go lucky guy and I guess everybody would generalize the picture in the same way. I was in a company in December until January, transferred to another company in February and now the months haven’t even shifted and I’m in another company again.

I have my personal reasons that could be unacceptable for most people but this is still my life. Dramatic isn’t it. hahahaha I wanna laugh and I wanna change the way these text are creating a picture about me but I don’t know how to say this hings in other ways. Actually, there is not even a bit of drama in my life just risks and learnings. I’ve  realized that plugging and then pulling yourself out from a situation is a very big hassle in most cases but thank God in my last job, everythings going out smoothly. I feel so blessed today. Thank you Lord!

Dragon NaturallySpeaking Post

February 5, 2008

So, here is my first article using Dragon NaturallySpeaking. If you are new to Dragon NaturallySpeaking, you might find it hard to use the software. Dragon NaturallySpeaking is a voice recognition software, that is used to type words without using a keyboard, just your voice. But sometimes, it cannot recognize your voice, and other times, it will give you the wrong words.

Unlike in the demo, it is not 99% accurate in terms of giving out the exact word.  So I guess, if you’re going to buy this application, you will have to be very patient, as it could take you sometime to train your computer.  The good thing about this application is that, it will make you and efficient since you don’t have to type.  And that will save you so much time.

So if you are a blogger or an article writer, Dragon NaturallySpeaking could cut half of your time, allowing you to do more articles and the same span of time.  Personally, it’s fun to tell your computer to type in something for you like what I am doing now.  Isn’t this amazing?  Aside from the fact that it is fun to do so, you’re also saving effort and time.  By the way, I am using Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 9.51.  You may download a copy of the installer from torrent portals like mininova.com.

When using this application, you must remember that the computer is not a person that can analyse things by itself. And like any other computer software,it has its own limitations.  As with my experience using the software, I was able to said much of my time typing although like I have said earlier, it is not 100 percent accurate. But, I would rate it as excellent.

Dragon Naturally Speaking

February 4, 2008

This morning while browsing some video streaming news sites, I came across an application which I find interesting. The application is called Dragon Naturally Speaking. It’s a voice recognition program that could save you a great percent of your time especially if you need to type so many text for your articles or for office documents. The software is worth $99 which is a bit expensive for people like me. lol…

Of course, it’s always possible to get a working copy of the software even without you having to pay the grand $99. What I did is I search to available torrent downloads bearing the most up to date version of the Dragon Naturally Speaking. I found version 9.51 which is actually packed with both english and french language capabilities. I would be needing around 650 MB of disk space in order to install the english only version. To install the french language and the english language together, 1GB of disk space is required. But of course, I would be a complete idiot if I install the two languages since I dont speak french.

With Dragon Naturally Speaking, I could create blog posts with out having to lift a hand in typing words and also if ever I’m gonna do paid articles again. And the best thing about the application is that it is said to give a 99% accuracy, which means what you say is what you get and nothing more. So, that’s it. I can’t say more since I haven’t personally tried using it yet. I’m still downloading the installer. lol

If you want to see the demo for yourself, you may visit their website at http://www.nuance.com/naturallyspeaking/

Time is Gold

Some people just can’t get what others mean when they say ‘ TIME is GOLD’. Well, actually it has a lot of meanings depending on the person who said it. Right now, it means to me like getting the most fun moments out of your time. I do not want spending it just to get stressed especially at work although I believe every job has some stressful moments attached to them. But still, you can pick jobs that aren’t that stressful and time consuming. You never know when your time is so better spend it wisely. Always try to enjoy your moments while you still can. I’m telling this because some can’t do things anymore the way they want to. When one gets crippled, he obviously can’t spend time traveling or playing or working the way normal people do them. Right!!?

For some reasons, I’m just being rational here because no matter how I explain this thing to other people, they don’t get me. They don’t get me because what matters to them is just about being productive in their day and to be productive one has to be busy doing something. This idea of being productive of one’s day isn’t working for me. It’s just not the way I look at being productive about my time. Whenever I accomplished a bunch of things and afterwards I get headache or worries, then its not at all a productive day for me. Well, it could be for the one to whom I worked for but definitely not for me.

So, if I would give out a conclusion about productivity and about time being gold, I would say ‘Time is indeed gold so we have to be as productive and as accomplished as we can be. And we are only productive when we have done things with enjoyment before and after we’ve done them.’ Therefore, I don’t consider it productive when you become burned out after accomplishing a thing.
